Fear and subsequent anxiety is an uncomfortable and sometimes debilitating experience. You may have a specific fear e.g. health anxiety or a phobia, or more of a generalised anxiety that may lead to racing thoughts and unhelpful coping styles e.g. social isolation, withdrawal, or aggression. You may notice memory lapses, sleep disorder, safety behaviours (e.g. obsessive compulsions), panic attacks and even deterioration of your physical health.
